Wildly Speculating ZiNE Vol. 1 Now And Then
- This zine is part of a series where I write about the underlying themes surrounding gender and sexuality in movies that I grew up with. This issue is about Roberta Martin played by Christina Ricci in the movie Now and Then. It explores the “tomboy” trope that was prevalent in 90s movies and TV shows, as well as the once necessary need for hidden queer characters. The zine contains images from the movie, my own writing and digital drawings, as well as the movie’s soundtrack.
